The Retired & Senior Citizens Brotherhood (Regd.) (A Premier Organisation devoted exclusively to the cause of Senior Citizens) was formed on 6 May, 2005. It was the outcome of dedicated efforts of a small group of retired persons with flair for social work. The Association was got registered with Registrar of Societies, Govt. of NCT of Delhi under Societies Registration Act of XXI,1860.
Initially the Association activities started with sustained efforts to seek redressal of Pensioners’ grievances regarding Health Care facilities mainly CGHS. The success in this regard attracted more & more retirees joining the initiative. But as the membership grew, so that the scope of issues concerning this class reverentially called Senior Citizens.

The Management of the R&SCB is vested in the Executive Committee constituted as per the Byelaws of the R&SCB . Details of the current body are given in the attachment.
Any person, retired from Govt./Semi Govt./PSU/ MNC/Banks/ Bussiness /Profession or Household above the age of 60 years, can join. At Present, the Life Membership for single or spouse is Rs. 1,000/-
Magazine is published with an interval of four months i.e. 3 issues in a year. It contains information regarding forthcoming domestic and international tours, local picnic, information on Pension, Health Care, Dearness Relief, Income Tax and other matters of common interest.
